Wildfire
Pitch black that's how the room was, darkened by the curtains that covered all the light that could come in. switching the light on was pointless as they were old CFL bulbs which gave out the distressful shady light. Lisa is scared when they are on, she says that's when the bad people come. She sits at a corner with her arms around her knees, listening to the radio across the room, her parents say she hates to leave there, tells she finds it cozy there. It wasn't like that for her, it wasn't comfort she found there, it was safety. The reporter from the radio at Maui cries about the fatal incidents that happened from the fires in the islands. "Wildfire has burned everything down, the city is destroyed, hundreds of lives lost and plenty are homeless, the fire has decimated everything it touched."
