Did chickens evolve from Monkeys?

Had a friend say they came from the Dinosaurs, the large legs and the small held back hands made me think they really did.

Ron on my right at that point thought my friend was right and believed his notion whole heartedly. When brought to reality this isn't a big deal, but think of someone bathing in dirt just cause someone said it's natural or not visit Australia cause someone said people teach kangaroos boxing and looking at them in the eye triggers their thoughts to punch you in the face. Think of a situation where people switch to electrical engines just cause they think gasoline explodes.

What people of our time do is not look into things, the understanding and learning has gotten so low that information needs to be spoon fed, what looks sad is that the educational system does nothing for this situation.

The purpose of school is to improve a child's imagination and thought processes, instead children are told to score marks to crack exams whereby inducing competition instead of encouraging creativity.

There are things in this world that may look factual but may not be as it is, everything we hear may not be always true, looking into is what we should do, find good evidence to speak of things instead being a nosy neighbor who believes goes around spreading news on what he half-heard.

I heard from a friend last day that Ron still talks about Dinosaurs as the ancestors beings of chickens.
