                          WHO ARE OUR GODS?

“Dimensions!!”

“Yeah, dimensions.”

I was with my friend the other day, we were at his courtyard talking about some stuff.

I don`t know what drove us into that thought, but this topic kept pulling me.

“People say that we live in a 3 dimensional world”

“well, it`s true” I agreed

But then he said, 

“NO, we live in a 4D world”

I felt ridiculed for a moment, then I asked him

“What exactly is this fourth dimension?”

“TIME”, He said.

He went on saying that, 

“The 3D world will only be in existence if the things around us are frozen.

For example; a phone at rest can be portrayed on a 3D graph, but what happens when someone 

 Picks it up, every single frame can be expressed on the graph.”

“But what represents the change?” I asked him.

“Exactly, change only exists when time exists.

So, time can also be considered as a dimension itself.

Hence, we live in a 4D world”

The conversation continued to amuse me that it kept me in a perky situation.

To make it more interesting we began from the 2D world.

“let`s take Cooper, a guy in the 2D world. Cooper will have well explained definitions for both lengths and breadths. But, will he ever know what height is. 

Even if he tries to think of a different dimension, he won`t even know where to begin with.”

“yeah”, I said.

“Now, if we throw a ball which would pierce Cooper`s world, what would he see?’

“Well, I'll see a hole. He might see a never ending curved wall which he can never hop over.” Said I, wondering if it was what he meant. 

“YEAH, and this hole is a circle and he'll never know what made it.”

He continued saying,

“Just think about it bro, won't we be GODS to Cooper if he was real, beings which are able to control the things of his world.” 

That gave us to some questions,

What if, there are 5 dimensional beings.

What if, we are like cooper to them. No matter how hard we try we'll never be able to understand them.

What if, they were throwing balls at us?

This was the point where I saw over 17 notifications on my phone, it was Mom yelling at me to get home before the daily prayers. It was dark already and I had to peddle over 5km to get home.

Ebin told me one last thing as I got on my bike.

“Tony, The Bible says, Man can never understand GOD`S ideas.”

I grinned.

NOTE: It was just a funny conversation that we had, try not to take it seriously.
